About Cari

After graduating nursing school in 2002, Cari started working as a labor & delivery nurse in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. One of her favorite parts of the job was educating patients about what to expect during the labor process as well as how their bodies work to get those babies out! As she progressed in her career, she found that she enjoyed educating the staff as well. Cari started teaching AWHONN fetal monitoring classes in 2004, and has taught AWHONN classes, NRP classes, prepared childbirth classes and CPR over the years. ​Cari still enjoys working with and teaching patients at the bedside as well as teaching the nurses that care for them. ​Cari holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and has Master of Science degree in nursing from Western Governor's University. Cari is certified in Inpatient Obstetrics and Electronic Fetal Monitoring by the National Certification Corporation.
